OldMate
I build OldMate: the app on iPhone and Android, the version in your browser, and this site. It’s a personal CRM for the people in your life. You say or type a quick note after a catch-up, and OldMate keeps what was said with the person it was about, ready for next time.
How the journal is written
- Every study, figure and quote links to where it came from, and says what that source can and can’t tell you.
- Where a well-known claim doesn’t hold up at its source, the piece says so.
- Every person in an example is made up. Nothing comes from anyone’s notes or contacts in OldMate.
- When a piece reports a test I ran myself, it says how, on what and when.
- Other apps are named fairly, dated and linked to their own pages, including what they do better.
- A piece’s “Updated” date changes only when its words do.
